MENTORS

All the mentors are seasoned professionals in the video game industry, with more than ten years’ experience in the sector, ensuring a high level of knowledge and expertise to support the participating teams.

These mentors, coordinated by the Program Manager, will guide and advise the teams in every possible area. Additionally, the Program Manager will conduct a weekly production follow-up with each team to identify potential problems and help find effective solutions.

Sandra Samper

Business

Sandra Samper earned her PhD in Bizdev in the field of Game Studies in 2015 and started working in the industry on the business side (production, internationalisation, financing, etc.). Since then she has been a lecturer in business development for several universities, reaching the position of Director of Multimedia and Videogames Degrees at Euneiz University in 2023. She founded and directed the first video game incubator with a gender perspective at national level and is now part of the Video Game Investment Fund Wingsfund.me as a scout.

Arturo Monedero

Design - Strategy

Videogame designer at TLR Games, design teacher at EUNEIZ and Creanavarra and for the last 6 years, vice-president of development at AEVI. Among the most notable titles he has designed, the graphic adventure “Los Ríos de Alice” (The Rivers of Alice) with a soundtrack by Vetusta Morla, “Los Delirios de Von Sottendorff y su mente cuadriculada” (The Delusions of Von Sottendorff and his square mind), “The Longest Road on Earth” and “IDEA” deserve special mention. Winner of an IndieCade award and nominated for 8 times at the TGS.

He has worked in the video game industry since 1996, with extensive experience in areas such as production management, business, marketing and communication. He has spent most of his career at Ubisoft, where his passion for the world of video games really took off. He is an executive consultant in video game development, high-tech projects, education and recruitment. CEO of GameGi and Game.EUS

Lucía Quijano

Publishing - Communication

With over 12 years of experience launching entertainment and consumer products, Lucía specialises in in-depth product analysis and connecting products with their ideal audience. She is co-founder of Impulse Lean Publishing, a company that helps development studios predict and maximise their sales potential prior to launch by combining data-driven strategies with comprehensive support throughout the go-to-market process.

Alexander Camarero

Alexander Camarero is co-founder and creative director of Keplerians, a leading studio in the development of horror video games for mobile devices. He has more than a decade of experience in the industry. After graduating in Fine Arts and specialising in 3D development, he began his career as a developer in a completely self-taught way.

Óscar Sahun

He combines his own video game project with managing the GameBCN incubation programme, where he has worked for more than seven years. He is also co-founder of iGi (indie Gameincubator), the first video game studio incubator in Japan.

Ferran Puntí

Business

Ferran has 25 years of management experience and more than 20 years in the video game industry. He has been a visionary leader on numerous projects spanning video game development, eSports, and digital innovation. As co-founder and CEO of The Breach Studios, Ferran shapes the company’s strategic vision and oversees the development of innovative gaming experiences. Under his leadership, the studio has produced engaging and technologically advanced games, including the award-winning ‘Project ST’. Ferran’s career includes co-founding Kerad Games together with footballer Gerard Piqué, where he served as marketing director and oversaw the development of ‘Golden Manager’. He was also a pioneer in organising eSports championships for games such as Starcraft and Counter-Strike. Ferran is a passionate player, a dynamic entrepreneur and a motivator.

Virginia Martín Pérez

With a proven track record of more than 16 years in the video game industry, Virginia is a game designer with a generalist profile, which has given her versatility and adaptability to work in multiple areas of design and at different stages of development.

Xènia Castelltort

Public Speaking

Passionate about the world of oral and physical expression, an actress by profession, a public speaking trainer by vocation and an entrepreneur by chance. Graduated in dramatic arts in Barcelona and specialised in Shakespeare in London at the Central School of Speech and Drama. From the fusion of two passions (theatre and communication), Express Yourselfi was created, a training company focused on public speaking using theatre methodology, providing training to national and international companies and universities in Catalan, Spanish and English. Since 2021, she has been a TEDx coach, helping speakers create engaging talks.

Aitor Jiménez

Experienced sports industry professional, with a strong passion for Sports, Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship. Currently working at Baskonia-Alaves Group leading the innovation strategy of the club.
Creative, collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to implement major corporate innovation projects. Prior to joining Baskonia-Alaves Group, director of innovation of multiple Spanish companies such as Ibermática, Ner Group and Sarein. Former Head of Innovation at FC Barcelona from 2016-2019 and Chief Innovation Officer at Athletic Club from 2019-2021. Additionally, founder of TapQuo, a Start-Up which was acquired in 2014. Regular lecturer and speaker at universities and international conferences. Blogger in elEconomista.es on new disruptive technologies and its impact on our society.
Aside from that, advisor to different organizations and institutions, sharing his expertise in innovation and the development of new business models.
